About The Firm

Claire White focuses her practice on real estate transactions, estate planning, estate administration, and business matters. She works closely with individuals and families throughout Van Wert and the surrounding communities to help them navigate important legal decisions with clarity and confidence.

A Van Wert native, Claire graduated from Van Wert High School before earning her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from The Ohio State University and her Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law in 2021. She joined the firm as a legal intern in 2018 and became a partner in December 2021.

Claire also serves as an Assistant Prosecutor for Van Wert County, handling civil matters and child support enforcement. She enjoys staying involved in the community and spending time with family and friends.

Charles F. Koch, known by most as “Chuck,” has spent decades serving the legal needs of individuals, families, and businesses throughout Van Wert County. His practice focuses on real estate law, estate planning, estate administration, business transactions, and port authority matters.

Chuck graduated from Crestview High School, earned his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University, and received his Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1980.

He began his career at Koch Law Office, founded by his father and uncle in 1947, and has continued that legacy by serving generations of local clients. Chuck has also served as an assistant prosecuting attorney, acted as a municipal court judge, and remained active in numerous community organizations.

Our administrative team plays an essential role in supporting clients and keeping cases moving forward. From answering calls to assisting with document preparation and coordinating communications, our staff helps ensure clients receive timely and helpful service.
